A new player from Florida became a Crorepati. The lucky ticket holder won Mega Millions’ latest record jackpot: $160.2 Crore on the drawing of August 8, 2023.

This is the biggest sum ever awarded by this amazing American lottery. No information on who the winner is or how he chose to claim the prize has been shared for now.

All we know is that the winning numbers were featured on a single winning ticket: 13, 19, 20, 32, 33 & Mega Ball 14.

The winning ticket was purchased in Neptune Beach. The Mega Millions jackpot had been rolling over for 31 draws, after being previously last won on April 18, 2023.

Once he heard on the news that one of the Mega Millions winners was from his city, he remembered to look at his numbers and saw that he had matched all of them.

He excitedly hugged his wife and then sent the following message to his boss: “I’m really sorry, boss. I hit the jackpot. I don’t think I’m going to come in today, tomorrow, or ever.”
